  • Improving our service quality and AI models: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving a service our customers depend on, balanced against your interests and rights. 11. Klaviyo Integration Data

This Privacy Policy applies in full to the data we receive through our Klaviyo integration, in addition to the general translation-service data described above. The data-handling, security, retention and data-subject-rights commitments in sections 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 apply to Klaviyo-shared Account and Account User data on exactly the same terms as they apply to data you submit to us directly. When you connect a Klaviyo account to i18n Agent, you authorise Klaviyo to share account and user data with FatCouple OÜ. We process that data as follows:

  • Account and Account User data: through the accounts:read scope we receive your Klaviyo account identifier and the account's contact information, which includes the organisation name, the default sender name and default sender email address, website URL, industry, timezone, preferred currency, locale and public API key. We store only the account identifier and the label shown for the connection, which we use to route translation jobs to the right account. The remaining fields, including the default sender name and email address of the Account User, are used transiently to verify the credential and to show you which account you connected, and are not written to our database.
  • Authorisation data: the OAuth access and refresh tokens issued for the connection, stored encrypted at rest, together with the identifier and signing secret of the webhook we register in your Klaviyo account.
  • Content data: the email templates, flows and sign-up forms you select for translation, together with their names, Klaviyo identifiers, editor type, content fingerprints and sync timestamps.
  • Profile data: when you run language enrichment, we read profile email addresses, locales and profile properties from your Klaviyo account in memory only, in order to determine each profile's language. Where you have granted write access, we write that language property back to your Klaviyo account. We do not store Klaviyo profile records on our systems.
  • Job data: records of the translation jobs run for your Klaviyo account, including status, target languages and any error messages.

We use Klaviyo-shared data solely to deliver the translation features you have enabled: listing your Klaviyo resources, translating the content you select, creating and updating translated copies in your Klaviyo account, and keeping those copies in sync. We do not use Klaviyo-shared data to train AI models, and we do not sell it, rent it, or disclose it to anyone other than the AI translation providers and infrastructure providers described in section 6.

Retention: Klaviyo content submitted for translation is processed and then deleted on the schedule set out in section 5. Account and Account User data held in the connection record, namely the Klaviyo account identifier and the connection label, together with resource metadata and job history, is retained for as long as the Klaviyo account remains connected to your team. The account contact information described above, including the default sender name and email address, is never retained beyond the request in which it is read. When you disconnect a Klaviyo account, we delete the webhook we registered in your Klaviyo account and deactivate the connection so that no further data is requested from Klaviyo. You may request erasure of the remaining connection records, metadata and job history at any time by emailing [email protected], and we will action that request within 30 days.

Legal bases: we process Klaviyo Account and Account User data, authorisation data, content data and job data under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, because that processing is necessary to deliver the integration you asked us to connect. We process Klaviyo profile data during language enrichment under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR as well, on the instruction of the Klaviyo account holder who starts the enrichment. We keep connection and job records for security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in operating the integration reliably. Section 3.1 sets out the corresponding right to object.

12. Supervisory Authority and Complaints

FatCouple OÜ is established in Estonia, so our lead supervisory authority for the purposes of the GDPR is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).
